We are looking for a highly reliable employee with a passion for plants and a positive outlook on life.
Our team is small and it’s important that we all work well together and focus on quality vineyard management.
With about four other staff members you’ll be shoot-thinning, wire-lifting, crop-thinning and taking care of other manual tasks in the vineyard, no tractor duties involved.
A background in horticulture would be great, but not essential – full training will be given.

About Blackenbrook Wines Ltd
Our seven grape varieties prosper in the balanced maritime climate and Moutere clay soil of the 20 hectare Blackenbrook family vineyard halfway between Nelson and the Abel Tasman National Park. We are Daniel and Ursula Schwarzenbach, small winemakers with a big vision and a genuine determination to improve the style of each vintage. Proudly hands-on, we nurture grapes from the soil to the bottle in our sustainable vineyard and gravity-fed winery.
